If I can put 0 stars I would . This is above and beyond by far the worst phone company that I have ever dealt with in my lifetime.
I had an issue where they disconnected my phone. Then when I call them back last time speaking to a supervisor name Sharon they tell me that they are unable to reconnect my phone. She was also unable to properly articulate any answers to any of the questions that I asked her, including what time they even closed she sounded like if she didnt, she couldnt communicate and speak. She sounded like if she hadnt even finished first grade as she could not even calculate what time her company closed and it was just absolutely a horrible experience and I was very very patient all throughout.
I was told by Truconnect that I have to transfer my service to another company or I actually have to pay them a certain sum of money to reconnect it, which is basically robbery. I ultimately opted to transfer out my number anyways because I did not want to continue to deal with their poor communication inconsistent information and lies being told as well as long hold times that were over 20 to 30 minutes at a time as well as lack of eagerness to assist a customer in the first place, especially one with an issue to no fault of mine. They even told me that I needed to call them every other day to try to get my issue resolved because there was no guarantee that they would be able to resolve it in one interaction with no phone or service. I was told to do this with no phone and no service and repeatedly told to do this by supervisors that it was actually escalated to.
Ultimately told that my number was disconnected and lost forever when I repeatedly attempted to transfer the number out . It was like they wanted to hold my number hostage leaving me no option but just to charge me money to actually keep it .To anyone that does not value their time , is able to be without a phone for extended periods of time that they were supposed to have connected in the first place, as well as risking having your phone just disconnected without any type of notice or any type of resolution to fixing the problem , literally having my phone disconnected every two days when I would call to attempt the transfer out of my service without any proper explanation, not wanting to speak to a supervisor or a competent agent for proper guidance , wants to be kept in constant limbo about the situation have it escalated and no follow up regardless of whether or not the previous agent said that they notated and documented your account, and also provided you with a ticket number, then go right ahead and sign up with Truconnect who should actually change the name to LiesConnect , for those of us who actually would prefer to have immaculate customer service, seamless transaction no inadvertent interruptions and provided with consistent information, I definitely recommend that you avoid this company like if its the plague or like if its Covid, because if not, you will sorely regret signing up with TruConnect. Go to Safelink or straight talk wireless the hold times are almost nonexistent. An agent typically picks up within seconds.
Theyre very adamant about helping the customers and go above and beyond, theyll stay on the phone with you as long as they need to get it resolved and come up with alternate solutions if needed, and they do an awesome job at keeping you informed about the process throughout. Avoid Truconnect its been a month long disaster for me so far who knows how long it would be for You.

So I paid$20 for data on the 19th and never got it so I've been calling them non stop every hour for the past month straight and they won't help me with this issue they keep hanging up on me and laugh at me take my info like my pin#: credit card # and hang up every time I haven't been able to use this phone for month and half CALLED THE GOVERNMENT no help I need Data now I had to cancel my social security disability hearing twice cause I have no data I have court hearing today at 9 am waiting for this for 4 YEAR'S I need help these people are horrible oh and they have ALSO shut off my phone twice on me they're scammer I need help now PLEASE!!!

True connect is horrible having trouble with this phone they won't give me data I paid for data I have had my phone shut off they hang up on me every time I call there play simply won't help me I've been calling them for a month I paid for data and I have a social security disability hearing on Monday and I have no data no internet and they simply won't help me I've had to cancel my court date three times already I'm done with this crap and the other cell phone company that had MetroPCS they have ruined my life the guy at the store had me arrested put in jail lost my license lost my car it's been horrible and I had tCP discount on that phone too

He didnt want to help me with the application even though Im disabled and I dont have a phone and he told me that I had to do it online and it would take up to two-3 days and I cant wait that long because I dont have a phone now but he doesnt care about that

This is the second worst free phone company I've ever dealt with. I've been disconnected from them without my permission three or four times.
They won't tell me how I keep getting disconnected. By disconnected, I mean dropped by their company. Which means I have no cell phone data. They won't tell me why I keep getting disconnected and they didn't send an email saying I was disconnected.
They said I've been transferred to another company, but I did not give my permission for that either. When I asked which company I was transferred to, they did not answer. They tried saying that I've been hacked, but that makes no sense. A hacker would not transfer me to another company-that makes no sense.
I reapplied, and they messed that up too. I've been without a phone for 3 days now, and I'm physically disabled. I wouldn't recommend this company. The chat support agent kept saying he had spent too much time with me, that he needs to go help other customers.
He was more concerned with getting out of chat than helping me. He kept asking me if I had any more questions and each time I would ask him a question he wouldn't answer it. I ended up repeating myself at least four or five times, if not more, the same question that never got answered. The support agents, in my opinion, use psychological tactics in chat, to avoid answering questions by turning everything around onto you.
They don't answer your questions and then when you throw a fit about it, they say that you're to blame because you're mistreating them. The thing is, they're setting you up for failure by doing this.
It's how they avoid answering questions. Not only that, I think chat support is from another country.

I had a great sales rep com to my door he told me these were reject phones for the lifeline program and I needed this now as I am disabled and trying to find a new career. I have never spent alot on a phone last phone purchased was Moto G Pure, and I should have put sim in it but my screen is cracked.
STRATUS CLOUD C7 WAS GLITCHTY & NOT MANY SETTINGS AND FEATURES WORKED... AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS CORRUPTED ON ME ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!! NO CUST SERV ON SUNDAY!!
TRYING TO GET JOB SERVICES ETC!!! i NEVER EVEN SAW CHAT FEATURE.
BTW while typing I took 1 more look for chat and ran across my answere...can you put sim in another phone and it still work the answere is yes if the contacts are saved on sim u r good to go the sim is already active (the phone needs to be unlocked though)

I went through the same thing.i woke up Saturday and my phone had been disconnected. I called truconnect the horrible man I talked to was completely rude.i told him my phone was disconnected.
He said they disconnected it because I signed up for service from another company so and if I wanted my service back on I had to re apply.i never signed up for any service and I told me I didn't and he told me I was lieng and my service is no longer connected and told me it was my fault I shouldn't have signed up for another company.i never signed up for any service,I was happy with my service at this point never had a problem. The way they treat you and talk is horrible.
